Timmins Square is one of the largest shopping centres in Northeastern Ontario. With 397,303 square feet (36,910.7 m2) of space it is the largest mall within a radius of 300 km or more, and attracts customers from outlying communities such as Chapleau, Smooth Rock Falls, Hearst, Iroquois Falls, and Cochrane.

The mall is located in the Mountjoy neighbourhood of Timmins. Since opening in 1976, it has supplanted the older 101 Mall as the city's main shopping centre.

It has approximately 70 stores, with Zellers and Sears being the major anchors, alongside a large No Frills grocery store. Wal-Mart used to have a store in the mall, but shut it down and built a larger location on the outskirts of Timmins. In 2006 a major renovation was completed, adding Winners and Sport Chek outlets.

In 2006 $1.2-million in further renovations were completed to mark the mall's 30th anniversary. The renovations are the first major updates done to the mall since it first opened its doors in 1976.

The mall was purchased in part by RioCan in May 2001.
